INTERIOR DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS

Carole has been working with designers in residential interiors, cabinetry and lighting design, since the mid nineties. She worked at the famed ‘blue whale’ Design Center in Los Angeles and then locally with Dorado Design (masterdesigner Elizabeth Spengler) and now has a professional affiliation with taylordesign + BUILD as Carole Hunter Designs. She has a great sense of appropriateness, attention to detail, and a gracious style in personality and taste.

FINANCIAL

Carrie keeps the financial system in good running shape. She is cool with all things numeric and as the photo shows, able to train dogs to ride a kayak!

SR. DESIGNER and BUILDER,

(photo taken about 15 years ago)

Bil traveled from the Boston Architectural College to the high desert of Arizona to work for the eco-architect Paolo Soleri at Arcosanti.  The sweat and blood of active ‘doing’ and Soleri’s ecological perspective continues to influence his thinking, designing, building etc.

An experienced Tucson practitioner Bil has evolved towards a  modern, practical ethos.  He has an exceptional ability to handle the many complex building functions while seeking an original design insight to the site, the client and the project.

In the on-going understanding of sustainability he continues to experiment to verify new ideas and self educate continuously. His work has been honored with local and regional design awards and published nationally.

Bil co-taught a design/build studio at the University of Arizona’s School of Architecture, 2009-2012, wherein the students design + build a small home in two semesters.

”Of all my mentors he left a most indelible passion for architecture.

Soleri’s vision of an ecological architecture preceded by many years, all things “sustainably green”.   His personal creative discipline inspired Bil to continue on and become an architect.  After 2 years as an on site superintendent of various Soleri projects,  Bil completed formal architectural training, licensing and the start of his own firm in Tucson, Arizona in 1980.
